Well, I finally went and got a tattoo. Sorry Mom, I did. It's something that I have been wanting to do for so many years. It took forever to decide what I wanted because I wanted it to be something really special and I wanted it to have something to do with my girls. I read somewhere online that dragonflies symbolize change and a new beginning. Each one of my girls is a new beginning and every day with them is a new adventure that we go on together. We've had some good changes and not so good changes but through all the changes we will make it. I decided on dragonflies for that purpose and also because I've always liked them. The large one represents my oldest, Alessandra and the little one is Emily. They are swooshing through the air to represent our journey together. One or the other is always in motion, even when sleeping. I walk into their room in the morning and Em is completely shifted from the position she started in. Her foot is usually hanging off the bed.

It hurt to get. It took 3 long hours of laying in one position and trying not to move. My arm and left leg were numb by the end of the evening. Luckily Troy was there to hold my hand and let me squeeze his whenever it started to hurt. I'm really happy that I did it and I love it!!
