Well, I haven't been on for awhile except to check on other people. I myself haven't had the time or emotional capacity to write anything. So...here's a little update about what is going on with me and my girls.
Alessandra's Girl Scout cookie order came in and needless to say...500 boxes of cookies is a lot to deliver and keep track of. I have been short on a few boxes and it's been really frustrating. Hopefully soon I will have them all delivered and I don't have to worry about it again for another year.
Work is going ok. I can't say that at this point in time I am completely happy at my job but I think that there is a lot of other things going on in my life that are affecting me in different ways and I'm feeling overwhelmed and stressed a lot. I find that most days its a struggle to get out of bed at all.
I spent a week helping my parents watch my adorable niece while my sister and her husband took some time to get away before baby number 2 comes along. They went to England and saw lots of neat things. They apparently toured this old castle and went into the creepy dungeon. It sounded pretty neat. I'm glad that they had a chance to get away.
I can't remember if I posted about the science fair or not so you get to hear it all again. Alessandra participated in the school science fair, her project was on rainbows and how they are created. Glad that one is over for another year as well. :) She was also in her class play as a dog in the Brementown Players. It was really cute and all the kids did a wonderful job.
Emily is now registered for Kindergarten. I can't believe that my baby is getting so big that she is starting Kindergarten this fall. Hopefully her teacher will be just as good with her as her Preschool teachers have been. We love Miss Heidi and Miss Melissa, we are going to miss them bunches. I hope that Emily is excited for Kindergarten and to be able to go to school with her sister. It might help her feel a little better about things.
My divorce is still yet to be finalized. We have a third mediation scheduled for the 18th of this month. You know what they say, third times the charm. Hopefully this time things can get worked out. If not, it's off to court for us. Luckily this time we scheduled a court date beforehand just in case so...if mediation doesn't work I get to go to court the following morning. Looking forward to that. This has been a long and drawn out process. I just want to say thank you to everybody that has been there and supported me and my girls through all of this. Here's hoping for something positive to happen next week.
The girls and I also spent a week house/dog sitting for our family friends. The girls had so much fun helping me look after three dogs. Em would go over there with me almost every morning and every evening to help me let them out and make sure they had enough food. She was a great helper. Also, not that I was expecting anything in return but...Suzanne loves Philosophy products and just so happens to have a huge supply of them. She also just had a jetted tub installed so she told me that I was welcome to take a nice relaxing bubble bath and I could use all the products that she had. Well, when they got home she asked how I liked it and I told her I loved them, when I went to return the key she gave me a gift bag filled with products. It was really neat. I told her that it was too much but she insisted.
I think that all just about covers it. Oh yeah...I took a jewelry making class and am hopefully going to start making some jewelry. I don't expect to make any money or anything at it, just have some fun and mostly make it for gifts and such.
So...think this post has been long enough for now. I promise to keep more updated on things in the future. That way I don't have these huge postings. My fingers are starting to hurt from typing all this. :)
