Bad Things Happen To Good People

I never seem to understand why bad things happen to good people and a lot of the time the bad people never really seem to have something bad happen. I'm sure that they do but...it just seems rare. In one weekend two good people I know have lost their lives. I also know of lots of other good people who have had more suffering in their lifetime than any person deserves. Why is that? If anybody can help make sense of all of this and explain it, please do.
