No More Tonsils

Yesterday Emily got her tonsils taken out. Her tonsils were so big that they were obstructing her breathing airway and they needed to be removed. Surprisingly yesterday she was pretty chipper and doing pretty good. Today, however, is a different story. She has been really sore and tired and sick a few times. I was a little bit worried earlier because she was throwing up and had a really high fever. I've been trying to keep her hydrated but the poor kid refuses to drink or eat anything. Hopefully tomorrow she will be feeling better. I feel bad for her though because today is the Fourth of July and I know that she would have loved to go and watch the fireworks. Maybe if she's feeling up to it we'll have to have a little post Fourth celebration tomorrow.
