Thanksgiving

I've been meaning to post this for a few weeks but have been super busy, which I am sure you all know exactly how it goes. :)

Just before Thanksgiving Troy took me to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I have been wanting to see them for years but have never been able to get tickets but thanks to a friend dropping me a good tip I was not only able to get tickets but we got awesome seats too. Not exactly on the floor but close enough to it. The lady violinist was awesome. Course I love the violin and hope to learn to play it one day but she was really good.

They all had a lot of energy and put on a good "show". I would say that there were only a few things that I wasn't so sure on...there was some singing of certain songs that I wasn't too thrilled with and there was a narration thing that they did between certain songs and I don't think that I was too thrilled about that either. I was really happy that Troy went with me though because he normally doesn't go to concerts, not too big on being in huge crowds, but he stuck it out for me. It meant a lot. We had a good time together.

The girls and I then went up to Troy's house on Thanksgiving and had dinner with his parents, sister, nieces, Ryan, and him. I love his family. They are lots of fun and really wonderful people. We had a terrific dinner that his mom, dad, sister, and I'm sure even Ryan and Troy helped, make. Carol, Troy's mom, made this stuffing with pine nuts in that was really good. We played Apples to Apples and had a good time.
