Back to School

Well..Wednesday was just a mess because here I was trying to get my midterm done and make it to back to school night, also while trying to attend class plus had the two hour drive back from Logan. Whew!! I was exhausted.

Alessandra started 3rd grade yesterday. I can't believe how big my little girl is getting. I look at her and can't believe how fast time has gone by. It always amazes me. Before I know it she's going to be starting Jr. High and I'm going to have a teenager on my hands. It's really hard to imagine.

Emily has not yet started Kindergarten but will next week. I think that they like to hold off on Kindergartners because 1)they have to do the assessments. And 2)can you imagine how scared those little kids would be if they got caught up in the shuffle of everybody else trying to figure out where they need to go? It's kinda sad in a way because my baby is growing up. :(

I don't know about anybody else but I'm wondering where the summer went. I guess it was a little weird for me this summer because I only had the girls every other week so I kinda felt like it went by faster with them because I didn't seem them that much. I'm glad the summer is over because I like having my girls home with me, I do wish that I could have taken them somewhere fun like Disneyland or something. One of these days I'll be able to do that. I just hope it's not when they're too old to enjoy it. Who knows, maybe next year things will be a little bit easier financially and I will be able to take them somewhere, like Yellowstone, for a few days. I'll just keep my hopes up.
