Cookie Sales End

Whew!! I had a busy month. Alessandra reached her goal of 500 boxes of cookies sold. Can't wait to deliver all of those. I want to say thanks to everybody that ordered. It meant a lot to her and to me. Thanks!

Last month I had to plan a retirement party for our Chief Building Official and let me tell you,that was a pain. The City gave me a budget of $100. How in the heck do you plan a retirement party for about 150 people on $100?? You don't. I spent over that on food alone. I ordered two full sheet cakes...one would have been plenty but I was really worried about not having enough. I also got three sheets of brownies, the cream cheese ones were the yummiest. I put a scrapbook together for him...he liked it soo much he cried. It meant a lot to me to do something like that and have somebody appreciate it that much. I honestly thought he wouldn't really care but I wanted to do it anyway. All in all I think that I pulled everything off very well. :) I was a little bit upset that at the end I didn't have any help in cleaning up after I had put it all together but...oh well. I managed to get everything cleaned up and after a very long day went home and crashed.
